How can we help you?
Medical tourism or health tourism is the travel of people to another country for the purpose of obtaining medical treatment in that country. Traditionally, people would travel from less-developed countries to major medical centres in highly developed countries for medical treatment that was unavailable in their own communities.
The recent trend is for people to travel from developed countries to third-world countries for medical treatments because of cost consideration, though the traditional pattern still continues.
We at IG facilitate contact with overseas doctors and hospitals and provide information to our clients about various medical procedures available at a fraction of the cost in their home country. We arrange a variety of medical tourism facilities from basic second opinion consultations to full service planned visits for treatment abroad. We help you by assisting with information on all medical related travel details from visa requirements, travel, lodging, tourism surgery costs and by introducing you with the International Marketing department of the medical centre abroad.
The information we provide is then analyzed by our clients to make their own decisions, as to whether they want to have their medical care in our suggested hospital and country. IG acts purely as a cost effective business information and facilitation centre for medical treatment options and IG is not a medical advisory organization. We do not have any personal contact with the physicians and our role is strictly limited to providing information on the overseas hospitals facilities. We strongly recommend that our client take his own decision or seek the advice of his or her health provider locally prior to going on a medical procedure trip. IG will however connect the client with the International Marketing team of the overseas hospital who will then take care and advise the patient of the procedure, cost or any other relevant information.
IG is able to provide quality service by:
- Staying connected with our clients as and when the information is shared to the client.
- Establishing the channel of communication between the client and medical facility prior to the planning of the trip for treatment.
- Having extensive knowledge of the international hospitals with whom we have established contact in foreign countries
- Building relationships with certified medical facilities in foreign countries who have world class facilities for treatment
